In 2007, Cindy Trahin started Trahin Insurance Services before adding Agent Lisa Petrovas in 2018 and Agent Carly Mannes in 2023. With a combined experience of more than 100 years, the Trahin Insurance team specializes in Medicare Supplements, Medicare Advantage, Medicare Prescription Drug Plans, Long-Term Care Insurance, Dental Plans and Life Insurance. Our goal is to educate you on your insurance options and counsel you with your plan decisions. We aim to reduce the confusion and overwhelm that many people experience when faced with the daunting task of picking the right coverage. Our Team
Carly Mannes
Carly graduated from Canterbury High School and continued her education at Purdue University gaining a Biology Degree. She began her insurance career during college with Cindy, working part time in Medicare Insurance sales. After graduating in 2014, Carly moved to Saint Louis and began working in management and sales for Bankers Life Insurance. In 2018 Carly relocated with her husband to Chicago, continuing to work in the insurance industry. Carly joined Trahin Insurance Services in 2023, and specializes in Medicare, Life Insurance, and Long Term Care Insurance. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her family, throwing darts with her husband, running and gardening.
Cindy Trahin, RHU, CSA
Cindy graduated with a business degree from Indiana University. She began her insurance career with Lincoln Financial Group in 1981 in various marketing and sales positions. In 2002, she joined a local brokerage company as the Medicare and Long-Term Care Director. In 2007, she began selling insurance fulltime. In 2011 she incorporated and currently owns her own insurance agency. She specializes in Medicare Supplements, Medicare Advantage, Prescription Drug Plans, Long-Term Care, Life, and Dental insurance. Her goal is to educate and guide both individuals and employees through the Medicare and insurance mazes. She holds an insurance license in Indiana, Florida, Michigan, Nebraska, and Ohio.
She has been a member of the National Association of Health Underwriters since 2008 and has held various local and state Board Positions. She also presents continuing education for insurance agents. Her certifications include Certified Senior Advisor (CSA), Registered Health Underwriter (RHU) and Medicare. In her spare time, she enjoys biking, traveling, and visiting her children and grandchildren in Carmel, IN and Singapore.
Joyce Line
Joyce is a seasoned professional, retiring early as an Executive from Lincoln Financial Group after 43 years of service in the financial services business. She has experience in life insurance, annuities, retirement plans, investments and a strong management background working in that capacity most of her career. After retiring, she began work for Trahin Insurance Services as their financial person in 2015. She obtained her Indiana Insurance license in 2017, specializing in the Medicare market. She now serves as the Office Manager for Trahin Insurance Services.
Lisa Petrovas
Lisa joined the Trahin Insurance Services team in June of 2018. She obtained her Indiana Resident Insurance License and nonresident licenses in Florida, Michigan, Nebraska, and Ohio. She specializes in Medicare and, most recently, the individual marketplace. She has been enjoying this new chapter of her life, especially since this allows her to continue helping others while hoping to impact the insurance business world positively. Lisa continues to grow in knowledge and compassion for not only the Medicare and Seniors, Special Needs, Long Term Care, and above all, serving others.
Lisa was born and raised in Fort Wayne, graduating from Homestead High School. She has been in sales ever since. Working in the Grocery business for 10 years. Lisa then worked with Heartland Beef where she traveled the country hiring brokers to sell to major distributors. Lisa has been married to her husband, Stacey, for 26 years.
Lisa obtained a Master Gardener’s degree through Purdue Whitley County Extension. Lisa is currently studying the mind-body connection in order to better serve the people she reaches.
Susan Cobb
Susan has worked 30+ years in the insurance industry. While at Lincoln Financial Group she obtained various securities licenses and utilized her licenses to train employees, educate brokers and financial planners on FINRA & SEC rules and regulations. Once she advanced to management, she oversaw various departments including: client suitability review, consolidated client account reporting, Training & Quality of individual annuities employees and accounts. She began working as an administrative associate for Trahin Insurance Services in January 2024 and obtained her Indiana Insurance license that June. Outside of the office, Susan enjoys reading, shopping, spending time camping with her husband, Larry & mini bernadoodle, Kona.
